SURPRISE!!!

Reagan took her first steps today and Aunt Jodi was so lucky to catch it on tape. We love her for it!!!! We were so surprised becasue we were not expecting it at all as the video shows. We are up in Seattle and Reagan randomly stood without help while we were outside so we wanted to show everyone. We took her inside and not only did she stand all by herself but she took a couple of steps. I was so shocked as you can tell! I am not prepared for this yet! Our little girl is growing up!!!! Hogle Zoo

We took Reagan to the zoo for the first time on Tuesday. She absolutely loved it! She has been showing interest in dogs, especially Ilene's. She will just let Everest lick her face and laughs the whole time. The entire time we were at the zoo she just giggled and smiled at all the animals. She didn't even get her most important afternoon nap and was still so happy. But of course in the car ride home she crashed the moment she got in her car seat. Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Zoo!





This is how she was most of the time we were trying to take her picture; facing the the animals. We were lucky to get the ones above; we had to spin around and take the picture before she could re-orient herself.

Summer Fun

I keep saying I will be better about updating this thing but I never am. I can't believe that 2 months have gone by since I last updated you on our lives. Reagan will be 1 YEAR in 6 WEEKS!!! Crazy, I know! We have tried to get out as much as could with me working and not getting a lot of time off this summer. So here are some of the things we did. The biggest of all is Reagan started crawling about a month ago. She just went one day and hasn't stopped since! Also, we went to Raging Waters about a month ago. Shay and I were so excited because we thought Reagan was going to love it. Boy were we wrong. She pretty much cried the moment we got in the water or even if we were just walking around it. I guess it didn't help that Dad got a little overzealous and took her down a little water slide first thing. We eventually warmed up to the idea of marching in the water but that was about it. Oh well maybe next time


For the Fourth of July Shaler was not able to be with us because he had to work so Reagan and I went up to my parents for a BBQ.


Shaler loves to give Reagan new hairstyles in the bath tub and these are a couple of them and then a couple of her just being cute!


And lastly, a couple days a go I put pig tales in Reagan's hair for the first time. Her hair has been long enough for pig tales for a long time but it just didn't look like Reagan when I tried to do it. So Shay finally told me to just do it. She gets them on special occasions now. Anyway, she also loves to spin in circles. Why, I do not know. She will entertain herself for hours doing circles. She is going to wear holes in her pants if she keeps it up! Shay got a video of it to share with you all (you can see her pig tales in the video)

Finally...

It has been way too long since I updated you on our lives. Reagan is becoming her own person now. Her attitude is all girl according to Shay! She is now 8 1/2 months. Crazy how time flies!! She still is not crawling and we are not complaining. She stays were we put her. Although, she is very daring when she sees smoothing see really wants and always does a face plant into the floor. Shay is taking classes through the summer so he can graduate in December and we are counting down the days! (Me the most because then I can stop working full time!!!) This are just some pictures that we have had fun with.

Reagan loves to read her books. She found her books while I was trying to fold laundry. She gets very involved in them. We love it!

Happy Easter

It has been awhile since I updated. I am on overlaod right now with the new promotion and two church callings so trying to fit this in is difficult but I am here now! Easter was beautiful here this year. It was earlier but the weather was still 65 degrees and sunny. Reagan loved it! She wanted to show off her new Easter dress and smiles. She is growing so much and will be 7 months in the next couple days. Enjoy

Half way there

Reagan hit her 6 month mark on Feb 27! She is now 16 lbs and 26 inches tall. SHe has grwon so much and time goes so fast. The other day we were changing her clothes and she only wanted to look out the window. We could not get her to let us put a shirt on her. We had to close the blinds to get good litghting in the picture but before that she was looking out the window. We thought she looked so cute that we had to share it with everyone. The other photo is our 6 month old. I will try and get a better picture to show how big she has gotten but for now this one is too cute to pass up!
