Christmas 2008

We enjoyed a fun filled Christmas with Shaler's family up at a cabin in Heber City this year. There was a lot of snow that fell Christmas Day that Reagan and Shaler extreamly enjoyed. The fmaily on Christmas Day

Shaler's Commissoning

On Dec 22nd Shaler officially became a 2nd lieutenant for the United States Air Force. His uncle Chad was able to give him the oath of office which was really fun. His uncle Chad also gave him his butter bars (the rank he used) that he received 37 years ago when he commissioned as a new lieutenant. It was an exciting day for family. Unfortunately we have to wait until the end of May to start anything. Here are some pictures from that day

SNOW!!!!

Shay took Reagan out this morning for her first experience with snow this year. Shay has been waiting all year for it to snow so he could take Reagan out to play. He has been the one to get all her snow gear this year. It is so funny! So when he woke up this morning and saw the snow he couldn't wait to get Reagan all dressed up. So here she is at 8am! She wasn't too sure of it at first but now she just looks out the window wondering when she can go out again.




When we got back inside she did not want to take her pants and boots off!

Christmas Tree!

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we went and got out Christmas tree. I did not think Reagan would be as excited as she was! She could not get enough of the tree! She wanted to help with all the ornaments and decorations. She has been surprisingly good when it comes to not touching the tree! Here are a few pictures of that night and one the day after

Happy Holidays!

We can not believe the end of the year is almost here! This is our favorite time of the season because we get to be with family. We joined my family for Thanksgiving this year. Aunt Ilene joined us but was already to full and lying on the coach for the family photo but I did snag one of her earlier! It was nice to relax and just have fun.

November

Not much has happened for us this month. A couple of days ago we celebrated Shaler and aunt Ilene's Birthday. Reagan wanted to help me make daddy's cake but she ended up like this instead



I also wanted to share this hysterical picture with everyone. Reagan's hair gets more out of control these days! This is how she was the other day when she woke up. Shay and I can't help but laugh


We have also developed a climber. Reagan wanted to look out the window the other day a decided that since we were not going to help her she would do it herself. And well....she did!

Our first....

Reagan received her first black eye the other day. She is now completely mobile on her feet and with that brings the corner of coffee tables! She fell into the coffee table and this was the result after a couple of days. She doesn't mind now as you can see but when it happened she was not a happy camper.

Chalk!

We discovered chalk today. Our neighbors had some outside and Reagan loved it. She was drawing on herself more than the sidewalk. This was officially our first "roll in the dirt" toddler day. We definately had a bath before dinner!

The other day I had to make some cookies for work before I left in the morning and Reagan decided she wanted to help me. However, she was more help in eating the cookie dough then actually helping. Sounds like her father!



She has also turned into our little helper in doing the dishes. She found our kitchen stool earlier this month and can not get enough of it, especially to help us with the dishes! You have to love the tippie-toes!

We finally had Reagan's one year pictures taken almost 2 months after but oh well! They are done now and we can share them with you all. Enjoy!

Reagan's Birthday

Sorry I have not updated everyone on Reagan's first Birthday. Shay forgot to charge the camera but luckily Uncle JT was there to take the pictures. Becasue of that I have been waiting for them for JT. Well they are finally here! We had a fun day with family and friends. Shay was dissapointed becasue Reagan would not get her fingers in the cake. Oh well next year. So here are a few pictures of that day (Aug 27) Oh, and dad was there I promise! He was behind the video camera the whole time

SURPRISE!!!

Reagan took her first steps today and Aunt Jodi was so lucky to catch it on tape. We love her for it!!!! We were so surprised becasue we were not expecting it at all as the video shows. We are up in Seattle and Reagan randomly stood without help while we were outside so we wanted to show everyone. We took her inside and not only did she stand all by herself but she took a couple of steps. I was so shocked as you can tell! I am not prepared for this yet! Our little girl is growing up!!!! Enjoy the video as much as we did

Hogle Zoo

We took Reagan to the zoo for the first time on Tuesday. She absolutely loved it! She has been showing interest in dogs, especially Ilene's. She will just let Everest lick her face and laughs the whole time. The entire time we were at the zoo she just giggled and smiled at all the animals. She didn't even get her most important afternoon nap and was still so happy. But of course in the car ride home she crashed the moment she got in her car seat. Here are a few pictures from our trip to the Zoo!
